Girls Night Out!

Two of my good friends are back for a visit. One moved to North Carolina and the other to Georgia. It is so good to have them back in Traverse City. We met up downtown for dinner and had a great time along with great food!!! So thankful to have some time with you Jenell and Staci. I'll miss you both!

Finding joy...

Friday I decided to try canning Bread and Butter pickles for the first time. All that work for only 3 quarts! Promised Dave I will can dills next. The cute towel I found on Etsy...love it!

Enjoying summer!

I still can't believe it is the middle of July! Where has the time gone? I love summer and am trying to savor every single moment. I feel so blessed because we have had the most beautiful weather so far and have made some wonderful memories. Here are just a few of my favorite summer things...

4th of July Weekend Bash!

I'm Back!

Hi, Everyone!

I'm back! Sorry it has been forever since I have posted anything. Life has been busy up here.

Summer is here and we are loving it. I LOVE summer in Northern Michigan...especially in Traverse City. Here are a few pictures of life so far...

Happy Birthday, Ethan!

I can't believe my baby turned 4 yesterday! What an amazing four years. I am so thankful for Ethan. Not only do I love him with all my heart but I truly like him. He is just a cool little kid. He makes me laugh. Especially when he informed me a few months ago that he was going to marry me some day :)

So for now I will treasure the moments when...

Ethan is wanting only his "Mama" when he is sick or hurt.

When kissing and hugging me in front of anyone isn't embarassing. I know this won't last :(

Especially his sweet little voice...I know that someday it will change.

We had a wonderful day even though Ethan has been sick. We made spiderman cupcakes, pizza for dinner and best of all, Ethan got his very own Woody doll which he hasn't put him down since!

Thank you, Lord, for blessing us with Ethan. My prayer is that as he grows he will seek you with ALL his heart.

Hi, Everyone!

Wow...it has been such a long time since I have posted anything. The past two weeks have been quite busy...

- I am an Auntie again to my new beautiful niece, Avery Mae, and my nephew, Owen Robert.

- Carter had two ear infections, an eye infection AND an allergic reaction to the antibiotic he was given.

-I went away for two whole nights to scrapbook with some great girlfriends. I got a lot of organizing done and finished 14 pages!

-Dave's sister and her family came to visit. It was TC's Winter Wonderfest so there was LOTS to do and see and finally...

-I got sick with a nasty sore throat/cold and am finally feeling better TODAY!
